Pryzm Nightclub Nottingham:

Remembering a Modern Nightlife Experience in a Historic Building

Most Nottonian’s know it, you may have seen it yourself if you’re new to Nottingham City, it’s that building with the big globe on the top opposite a carpark that should really be a Barnies Hot Dawgs drive in, yes that’s right, that one.

Located in the heart of Nottingham, Pryzm Nightclub used to offer unforgettable experiences for locals and visitors alike. Housed in a stunning historic building with a rich past, this popular nightlife destination brought together the best of both worlds, combining modern entertainment and décor with an atmosphere steeped in history.

It’s Got a Globe on The Roof - The Building's History

Pryzm Nightclub was situated in a magnificent Grade II listed building that dates back to the early 20th century. Originally constructed as a cinema, the building first opened its doors in 1925 under the name 'The Palais de Luxe'. Over the years, it has been home to several different businesses, from a bingo hall to a live music venue, before finally becoming the Pryzm Nightclub in the 2010s.

The building's impressive architecture, with its ornate façade and grand entrance, is a nod to the opulence of the early 20th-century entertainment industry. The façade features a classical-style portico, complete with Corinthian columns, which adds an air of elegance and sophistication to the nightclub's exterior.
