Filtering in with shimmering static, Canadian outfit sundayclub's self-titled debut demands you tune in. Described as “dreamy, gut-punch pop,” SUNDAYCLUB overflows with sensitivity and vulnerability; enveloping, cinematic swells of guitar and reverb blend with Carmichael’s ghostly vocals to create something imperfect, intimate, and vivid.
“Hazy dream pop has two new faces leading the genre, and that’s Courtney Carmichael and Nikki St. Pierre, together known as sundayclub" - CLASH
"Four years in the making, the record finds the band balancing hazy dream-pop with youthful indie-rock earnestness reminiscent of The 1975 and Alvvays" - Line of Best Fit
“Think Cocteau Twins meets Mazzy Star, with guitars that recall My Bloody Valentine” - NottsRocks
